The Hope™  Heart Institute

The Hope Heart Institute was founded in 1959 by Lester R. Sauvage, MD, a world-renowned cardiovascular surgeon and research scientists. Dr. Sauvage and The Hope earned international recognition in 1962 through pioneering coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.

Dr. Sauvage was responsible for performing inexplicable heart surgery on my mother, resulting in added years to her life. I am forever indebted to him.
